A copy of the home version of "X-Men"?

The settings of superhumans in "Freaks" are very similar to those of the "X-Men" series: Dad is an enhanced version of Quick Silver, daughter is a reduced version of Phoenix Girl, mother is a streamlined version of Superman, and grandpa is an ordinary invisible person. In any case, it is always refreshing to watch a group of superpowers use magic-like abilities to kill the Quartet. Just like in China, mythical stories like Monkey King and Nezha are always very popular. It's a pity that this film is a bit of a copycat setting, the overall is too rough, leading to some logical flaws. For example, to identify a person with superpowers, there is no other way except to check the blood stains under the eyes. At any rate, it is better to learn from the "X-Men" in the end, use genetic mutations to cause superpower settings, and use genetic testing. It won’t be so low to recognize it. Also because of the mechanical and backward identification methods, the human police would shoot and kill directly just seeing someone bleeding in their eyes. This is too sloppy and mentally handicapped. Towards the end, the female agent is going to shoot the little girl, but the grandfather can only block the gun. Isn’t it a better choice to push away the female agent or the little girl while invisible, or hit the female agent with a heavy object? This is really for the role Dead and deliberately written to death! There is also an enhanced version of Kuaiyin's father, who obviously has superpowers that can make the time in a space go by as fast as one month to seven years, but he can't dodge a bullet! Putting aside the flaws in these settings and plots, this film is generally not bad, with enough suspense, horror, and science fiction (or magic) factors, and the story advances layer by layer, which makes people very happy to watch. Especially the little girl's acting skills are amazing. From being an innocent little girl to becoming mature and even a little bit evil after experiencing various blows, she behaves very convincingly. At the end, when the little girl said firmly that she didn't want to hide anymore, I couldn't help but look forward to seeing how she and her mother were enemies of the entire human world, hoping that a sequel would come out.
