Most of the songs in the movie are Gershwin's works. Famous songs include'S Wonderful, Bon Jour Paris, On How to Be Lovely. There are not many surprises in the part of the song, but I found that Audrey is indeed not very suitable for singing, especially the part of Bon Jour Paris. But her acting skills and dancing are very appreciated!
The most exciting scene in the middle is the first meeting of the hero and the heroine. Audrey is explaining to Fred what empathy is: that is, you put yourself in another person's perspective to feel his feelings. Fred glanced at her, unexpectedly pulled her over and kissed her gently! That is the most beautiful kiss I have seen this year!
In terms of dance, Fred is a master, and the humorous dance of Clap Yo Hand is a highlight of the whole movie. And Audrey also showed off his dance skills: the indulgence in Paris bars and On How to Be Lovely are both wonderful pieces not to be missed.

It can only be said that it is average, and Hepburn is the most dedicated. Fred Astaire is so old that she can still play against him. This girl is too good.

Funny Face quotes

  • Maggie Prescott: Lettie, take an editorial! "To the women of America...!" No, make it to the women everywhere. "Banish the black, burn the blue, and bury the beige. From now on, girls, think pink!"

  • Jo Stockton: What about these pictures?

Dick Avery: Well, we're using this shop as a background for some fashion pictures for Quality Magazine.

Jo Stockton: I'm sorry, but I can't let you do this. Dr. Post would never approve. She doesn't approve of fashion magazines. It's chichi and an unrealistic approach to self-impressions as well as economics.
