The earliest origins of Dracula

DRACULA (Earl Dracula) is generally considered to be the first vampire, which is probably due to the successful literary works of Bram Stoker. This Irish man, known as the "father of ghost novels", established a whole set of vampire worldviews for us, which brought about a huge change in vampire culture.
There are two popular ones:
one theory is that in the 14th century, Count Delacla lost his beloved and cursed God and was turned into a vampire. In this case, the history of vampires is only a few hundred years.
The other argument seems to be more credible. In the movie "Dracula 2000", after betraying Jesus for 30 silver coins, Judas regretted it and hanged himself at sunset. But God does not forgive him for betraying his son, making him an immortal but eternally lonely vampire after death, to punish him for his betrayal. Because Judas became a vampire in the dark, he would never see the sun, because he betrayed Jesus for silver coins, and silver coins were his nemesis. Because he betrayed God, he was afraid of all the sacred objects. (Garlic and lily seem to be unable to explain...)
And in "Queen of the Damned" (Queen of the Damned) the origin of vampires is pointed to Egypt, and the explanation of vampires as a genetically mutated virus in BLADE is a rather different version. .

Okay, I admit that I made a nymph on JB's face... It turns out that this is a nondescript movie.

Judas had a good ending and a good ending, so giving 5 stars is hard to accept. Why use Judas as an evil vampire. Vampires never thought of atonement. This is definitely a failure

Dracula 2000 quotes

  • Simon Sheppard: [Translating Slavic text on a crossbow] "All fear he who walks beneath the crown of Eternal Night."

Abraham Van Helsing: No, no, no, no, it's not crown, it's halo; beneath the Halo of Eternal Night

Simon Sheppard: Oh, well, you see why the design never survived. And look how heavy it is compared to what they were using in England at the time.

Abraham Van Helsing: [talking about the crossbow in his hands] Ah, while the English made them for firing arrow shafts of wood, this was made for firing metal... silver.

  • Dracula: You think you can teach me about betrayal? Didn't your father ever tell you, Mary? I can't die. He won't have me.

    Mary: Did you ever ask?

    Dracula: For what? Forgiveness?
