It's not as bad as expected, but it's really not a good shot!

Finally I found time to watch the latest movie "Saho" by Parabas. Due to the bad reputation in the early stage, I didn't have high expectations. So, the final impression is that it's still ok, not as bad as imagined.

But, objectively speaking, this film was really not shot well.

The film tells the story of a fierce and large-scale battle between the gangster Dewara and Roy for a black box that can open the treasure house, during which the police and the undercover intervene.

The plot has gone through many reversals, and it is basically a suspenseful route, supplemented by a large number of actions and love elements. In short, it is a blockbuster that combines a variety of commercial elements.

Due to the global sales of "Baahubali", Parabas is not worth what it used to be. Therefore, the production of "Saho" has been invested heavily, and the money was finally smashed into the action scene. Very spectacular, chasing cars, explosions, gun battles, punches and kicks, building collapses... everything! If you watch it in a theater, it is estimated to be very shocking.

I especially like the action scene in the opening of the tube building. Although the situation is not very large, it has a sense of design. Compared with the previous Indian movies, the monotony of the protagonist can be rendered purely, there is no more. Less interesting and clever, it also highlights that the protagonist can not only play, but also makes good use of the environment and terrain and is very smart.

In fact, the first 40 minutes of the film were pretty good. The creative robbery took full advantage of the characteristics of the Indians. The appearance of Parabas was also very good, making him cool and handsome.

But from the moment the heroine appeared, the plot fell apart.

In action suspense blockbusters like this, it is enough for the hero and heroine to have a romantic affection, because there is no time to pave the feelings very thick, and the latter story is left for the audience to imagine after watching the movie. However, the director seems to be very rigid in emphasizing that both parties must live forever. The final effect is that without any touching emotions accumulated, the male protagonist only relies on some earthy love words and a few musical MVs, and the female protagonist will take out the ring for life. It's very unconvincing and completely unromantic.

Of course, the most fatal problem of the film is that it is too cumbersome. There are too many reversals, especially in the second half. There are so many reversals that the plot is chopped up. The last reversal has not been digested. It will be downloaded in a few minutes. A reversal came again, the audience's emotions were almost too late to engage, and they were forced to withdraw.

At the same time, due to too many reversals and too fast, most of them are very shallow and lacking in interest, and some reversals are very rough. For example, when the protagonist’s identity was reversed in the first half, the clue layout was too silly. The policemen were talking on the table, and a close-up saw that a bug was installed underneath, and immediately knew that there was something tricky. A good reversal should be reasonable, but unexpected, all are expected, what else to watch?

Not to mention some reversals in the second half of the journey, and it is impossible to do it even logically, because there is no foreshadowing. Saho rescued David's family, relying entirely on his own words, the high-level women's rebellion depends entirely on the villain's words, the story is about this, it has come to compose whatever you want, not rigorous at all.

It can be said that as a suspense genre, "Saho" is not doing well. Some viewers say that the plot is brain-burning... to be honest, not brain-burning at all, but it's easy to watch and then play, and then I lose my patience, and then I don't know what the film is talking about.

I don’t quite understand why the recent Indian movies are so obsessed with frequent reversals. In fact, the big-selling "Tuner" some time ago has this problem. There are so many reversals in the latter half that it loses its taste, as well as that of Salman Khan. The same is true for "Life and Death Race 3", with seven reversals throughout the entire process, all of which are of no quality. ("Saho" has so many reversals that I can't count them)

The reverse layout should be a grass snake gray line, which can withstand chewing, and if the quality is high enough, one time is enough. For details, please refer to the classic movie "The Very Suspect".

In fact, the core of "Saho" is still the common personal heroism in Indian movies. As long as the reversal of the protagonist’s two identity changes is retained, the story is concise, and there is enough space for layout and concentration. Highlight the protagonist’s wisdom.

I personally think that the reason why this film is so popular is entirely because of the popularity and invincible charm of Parabas.
