Watching "Summer in Kikujiro", Kitano Takeshi, who advocates violent aesthetics, also makes us see something completely different in Kikujiro's body. A middle-aged man with nothing to do, a bit of a rascal, strange behavior, many vices, but he has such a troublesome thing: Accompanying this child, Zheng Lang, to find a mother he has never seen before.
The film uses Zheng Lang's diary as an introduction and divides many chapters into it. He said to the woman: fuck, don't mess with my mother. I thought that he would be like Zheng Lang, eager to find his mother at some point.
In the hotel swimming pool, Kikujiro made me laugh for the first time. Facing the absurdity of him upside down in the swimming pool, Zheng Lang and the waiter's sluggish expression; when he asked the waiter to drive off for free, he was confident and completely ignored the broken thoughts of other people's expressions; found Zheng Lang in the lobby and hit the brains of other children hard. Misrecognition, when faced with the shock of the child’s parents, he dragged Zhenglang to flee the scene; the waiter gave Zhenglang his pocket money and said he wanted to be obedient, but he was full of complaints and said damn, it was mine. But at this moment, he is exactly the same as before, so tender, using a different way to protect Zhenglang's pure and sensitive young heart.
Just imagine, these four different men all have the most tender hearts. Maybe they have all experienced such a young age, have had beautiful dreams, and shattered in continuous growth. And at this moment, they were taking care of him, maybe it was Zheng Lang, or maybe he was the same young himself. If every child of Rushoro could meet such people on such a summer journey, but at the same time they were disappointed to gain other more precious things, maybe Kikujiro would be another Kikujiro, and so would the other three.
During the camping, Kikujiro visited his mother. Standing in the distance and looking at her old face, what kind of mentality would this man have? Some are like children making unreasonable troubles, and he insists on leaving the heavyweight first. Fortunately, the heavyweight is also such a gentle person.
Like Mr. Bald. Pretending to be an astronaut in the moonlight, trying hard to recite his lines, waiting for Zheng Lang to appear, looking forward to giving him the biggest surprise.
