Peace-the eternal topic of mankind

The Battle of Stalingrad was a major turning point in the Second World War and one of the bloodiest and largest battles in human history. German director Joseph Wilsmeier described the battle from a German perspective. In 1942, a few very ordinary German soldiers were transferred to the Stalingrad front line with troops from the warm waterfront, and soon they were engulfed by the brutal war. With the advent of winter, the severe cold became more terrifying than fighting. In the ice and snow, what they think is not how to fight, but how to survive. Thousands of German soldiers die every day. The defeat of the German army was like a catastrophe. The soldiers died one by one, and the last two men froze to death on the white ice in the warmth of dreaming of returning home. The whole film has no magnificent war scenes, no passion or enthusiasm, only the most true and cruel description of war and human nature. In the "Decisive Battle of Stalingrad", we see no hope. All the protagonists have not escaped the fate of death in the end, and there is no hope of life. Death is not terrible, it is everyone's destination, but hope is not to die in slaughter, die in hunger. I hope that there will be no more wars in this world, and that everyone can live a peaceful and happy life, and finally die on the bed.

The Battle of Stalingrad was shot from a German perspective. This is the correct attitude to reflect on the war. Maybe this is also a terrible place for the Germans. In my impression, there are very few movies made from a German perspective about World War II. Maybe I watch it. There are not many, and this part has performed very well in all aspects, whether it is war or personal, from face to point, including the choice of human nature, when the soldiers begin to doubt, the war will become unjust, in fact, you can see The satire of this war arranged by many directors is only due to technical reasons. Although it is only 5 years later, compared to "Saving Private Ryan", it is far worse. Even the very important suicide scenes are very fake. Fortunately, the flaws do not hide the truth, and it is worth mentioning that the dialogue in the movie can be said to remind those in power that your words may be the price of thousands of lives! But some Germans deserve it too!

The advantage of winter is that I don’t feel anything at all, everything is frozen and I can’t even cry.
