A few thoughts related to economics and culture

If you know some simple economics knowledge, you will know more by watching this film. After watching this video, I am very impressed and have some superficial knowledge.

1. The salary and other benefits of employees must be determined by the relationship between supply and demand. There is indeed a gap in per capita productivity between China and the United States. Therefore, the current living conditions of workers in Chinese factories and American factories cannot be simply compared. We cannot simply criticize that the rest time and safety environment of Chinese workers are not guaranteed. These are all determined by my country's productivity, supply and demand, and the market. As far as I know, the wages and benefits of Chinese workers are improving step by step, and many factories often fail to recruit people.

2. For Fuyao Glass to survive and make a profit in the United States, it must abide by the laws of the United States. There is no doubt about this. The United States is a more mature society than our market economy. I believe that the mature market economy system of the United States will definitely promote FUYAO GLASS AMERICA to become a more mature company, and at the same time, it will also provide some good help to Fuyao in the future.

3. Capital is profit-seeking. It is not just that Fuyao America will resist the trade unions. Capitals all over the world will negotiate and negotiate with trade unions. The delicate balance between trade unions and capital will ensure the protection of workers’ rights. At the same time increase corporate efficiency.

4. Although China's trade unions have been reduced to a form that has no role in protecting the rights and interests of workers, under China's current open market economy, good liquidity is also a hidden way to protect the rights and interests of employees. The market will set a minimum for the rights and interests of employees, although it is certainly much worse than that of the union.

Through the film, we can truly see the simple exchanges between ordinary people in China and the United States.

In the film, there is a radical Chinese Fuyao employee who "wants to force Americans to work overtime on Saturdays", hoping that he can find some meaning of himself during his working hours in the United States.

Another Wong, who works seriously, works overtime without complaints, and can communicate with American colleagues friendly, is the true representative of the most diligent and kind-hearted Chinese. They have been the cornerstone of China's economic growth in the past 30 years of reform and opening up, and they deserve to have better living conditions.

Some people say that the mechanical automation expressed at the end of the movie is creepy. But I don’t think so. The continuous improvement of human productivity is the most basic driving force for us to achieve a better life. It is precisely because the continuous advancement of automation allows us ordinary people to get more personal time and enhance more personal enjoyment. With the improvement of social productivity, I believe that the protection of the lower-level people who are dismissed or unable to survive will become more and more in place.

Many times we hope that the world is fairer, but unfortunately, the supremacy of interests is the eternal driving force for the development of the human world. We can only strive to find a balance between interests and morality/human rights.

Today I saw the 2016 report: Cao said that in addition to the high cost of manpower, taxes, land, and energy are cheaper in the United States than in China. It's really embarrassing, totally unexpected.
