The emotion surrounded by the heart-"Adventure"

The silence written on other people’s faces made me feel unable to calm down inside me, who had just been hiding in the darkness and almost fell asleep. This mood fluctuating under the influence of the environment suddenly made me vaguely find the mechanism to solve the "dull" mystery. After a series of brainstorming flashbacks, I finally had to admit it as if suddenly realized that Antonioni is indeed a master of film. It's a pity that I always know beforehand.

I think that any movie can only have one story, and even this story can be summed up in one sentence. A woman fell in love with her good friend's boyfriend, this is "Avenger". Perhaps whether in Italy in the 1960s or in China in the 21st century, this is just a simple or even cliché story. Like all the children who like to wait to hear stories, when the film begins, my eyes follow the characters closely, trying to grasp the story that can fascinate me, don’t you know that the Sandman has quietly invaded . This can't help but wonder, why did Antonioni choose to shoot such a story that is so uncharacteristic to speak of? Secondly, what the master presents to us is actually not the story, but the emotion-the emotion from the inner world. But this kind of emotion is not conveyed by the actor's superb acting skills, but by the writing of the film.

Regarding film writing, Bresson wrote in "Film Writing Notes": "The film is expressed by the relationship between image and sound, not by the imitation of the actors' actions and tones." Cha Cha is a typical example. Movies written by movies. Antonioni flexibly used medium shots, long shots, slow shots, and the atmosphere and sound of the natural environment in "Adventure", creating many symbols and metaphors. Especially the grasp of the atmosphere of the environment, it is almost as if the character's heart is completely peeled out. The actors in the film have become the director's tools or models. Their emotions are exposed to the outside and surrounded by their own complex and fickle hearts. The reason why Antonioni became a master is precisely because he can skillfully use the language of images to describe the inner emotions of the characters, just like the psychological description of the inner world of the characters in his pen. The only difference is that Antonioni is not using a pen, but a lens.

In "Adventure", whether it is the seemingly calm but hidden turbulent sea, or the howling sea breeze, thick dark clouds, and rolling waves, all reflect the inner anxiety and turmoil of the heroine. The disappearance of the friend is precisely because the director deliberately introduced the audience from the identity of the bystander to the heroine role. After that, we hesitated, conflicted, struggled, and struggled with her. The emotional changes in the characters are placed outside the body, and we as viewers are also entangled by this endless conflict. What impressed me is that after the heroine fell in love with the male protagonist, countless men around her cast a close look at her. This kind of "gaze" imagery can make us feel more from the perspective of women from the male society. Pressure, this is also the most conflicting part of her boyfriend who fell in love with her friend. There is no doubt that there are no ever-changing stories here, only misty and mysterious emotions. Antonioni successfully stripped a group of Italian middle class's complex and subtle inner world before us, showing us their emptiness, loneliness, indifference and fragility. And what controls this is the master's ability to schedule his movie scenes.

It can be seen that "Adventure" is an art film worth learning. What it brings is not only a unique viewing experience, but also a mirror to understand the human spiritual situation and see oneself clearly.

    Pharmacist: Brunette.
