I think it should be calm, warm and smiling, a rhythm that matches the heartbeat.
Watching this movie, I have this feeling.
Frankie is a 9-year-old deaf child. The movie tells the story about him and his single mother, simple and even cliché. But no character is simple. The film gives children, mothers, grandmothers, neighbors, sailors and other people rich personalities with caring but calm shots. The concise shots complement the natural performance of the actors. We understand them as our friends. As I got closer and closer to the guessed ending, I didn't feel the decay of emotional power. Instead, I shed tears when my mother read the last letter of my son.
