The movie is very good. An old black-and-white movie of the last century is so attractive. In addition to the plot and actors, Ingrid Bergman's performance is really amazing.
The only thing I don't like is the ending. The ending gives the audience the feeling that the heroine and the detective are together. I don't like this ending. It's not that the detective is not good. The detective is a very positive image in the movie-justice, wise, and seems to have no shortcomings. There is nothing wrong with the heroine being with such a person.
This is exactly what I don't like. The reason why the hostess is easily controlled by her husband is because she believes in love and lover. She has never doubted her love and lover. This is where her root knot lies.
People like the heroine are called "weakness" in Buddhist words, and they are easy to control, such as love, such as lovers, such as the surrounding voices, and they are easy to lose their own opinions.
If the heroine and the detective get along, the essence of getting along with her husband is no different. It's nothing more than better luck, from a scumbag to a warm guy. But if the detective has another purpose, does the heroine have the ability to save herself, instead of being rescued by the hero again.
What I mean is not to put your happiness on others, or men or love or other things.
We want to be the master of ourselves. If you can save yourself, encountering a scumbag is not a problem, but if you can't, then it's all resigned.
