The poetry of the movie

Wind
brought ice from the north atmosphere
to allow air to become heavy
- repression -

the leaves
from the trees to take away green gentle
apricot falling all over the floor
- dark and desolate -

Love
in the cold with yellow leaves spread in
occupied lover's heart
- whisper -

life
tumbling in not cheating in roulette
even if doomed to fall into
that darkest of a grid
can not escape

the face of death in love
without complaint and fear
ripples only dream of
tightly hugged her
arms -
Is the most beautiful
autumn in New York

Autumn in New York quotes

  • Will: You think I'm too old for you?

Charlotte: Oh, no... I collect antiques, or I aspire to.

    Will: Ouch.

  • John: Buddy, I hate to break it to you, but in the real world... where I live... there're only two kinds of love stories. Boy loses girl and girl loses boy. That's all there is. Somebody always gets left behind. You try to avoid that, you'll end up an old man toastin' yourself with egg nog in the mirror on Christmas Eve. You'll end up dying in your own arms.
