Typical French humor: a knowing smile, not as arrogant as American films, nor as obscure as British films. Easily, BILL watched it with me. In "Dinner Game", Mr. Beauchamp will hold a "Most Idiot" dinner every Wednesday. At this dinner, everyone will invite a fool. In the end, whoever is the most idiot will receive a prize. Beauchamp found a top fool, but he couldn't participate because he hurt his back from playing golf. So this fool made a series of jokes in Beauchamp's house. When I first watched it, I thought that Beauchamp would insist on taking injuries to take the fool he found. I also wanted to see what this game of teasing was like. The result is not, the characters are appearing one after another: Mrs. Beauchamp, Beauchamp's lover, tax inspector, advertiser. . . Everyone brought their own jokes. What made me laugh the most was that the phone call to Boshang’s rival in love did not expect him to be engaged with Boshang’s wife, but the wife who was eating tax inspectors at their house. By the way, when the tax inspector was about to go to the bathroom, he strayed into a room and placed all the collections of Mr. Beauchamp’s tax evasion. Those MOMENTS really laughed over.

The last words of the "fool" are the only serious points in this comedy. Little moving.

Life is too heavy, smile, ten years less.

Le Dîner de Cons quotes

  • François Pignon: Sometimes I feel like you're really taking me for an imbecile.

  • Christine Brochant: Are you the one who was supposed to be dining with him tonight?

François Pignon: Yes, how did you know? Did he talk about me?

Christine Brochant: Yes, but even without that, I would have recognized you.
