This is a very emotional movie, the dark atmosphere is very good, and it has a cool feeling
However, the film is too vague to express. If you don’t read the film reviews, you don’t know what it really means.
What is missing, but what exactly is missing?
Missing some flashback completions that reveal the theme at the end.
Like the last big reversal movie, there will always be a flashback at the end, just to explain that the good people you think are actually demons, and where you can’t see them, what utterly conscience did they do...
But the director did not do this, which made most of the audience unable to understand what was said, why it was so, etc. The plot did not achieve the amazing reversal effect.
Of course, this may give the audience more imagination and more possibilities for interpretation. It is worthy of careful consideration.
But this also makes the movie lack the biggest point of view and selling point. The previous speciously built is too good, and the final reversal is too cryptic...
Maybe the director thinks that flipping the storyline will be too commercial and routine? In fact, it’s not bad, the big kill is still quite enjoyable, it’s just too chaotic.
