Page 1 In a fancy restaurant, Steve meets a corporate executive who is impressed with his sales abilities. Steve explains his achievement by the fact that he was grown up in a farming community. He believes that the only way out for these farming people is to sell their land to the nature gas company.
Page 4 Introduce the simple farming life.
Page 7 Steve meets his partner Sue, who chooses a stick car that Steve doesn't know how to drive. They go to a local store to buy outfit so that they can pass as a local. They meet a very smooth shop owner who likes Sue.
Page 10 As they are driving, Steve and Sue are surprised at the mini ponies. Steve and Sue go to different houses with great human skills. They are welcomed by the local people because they want to have life-changing money and best education for their kids. (OPPORTUNITY: THE JOB HAS BEGUN.)
Page 14 Back at the hotel, Steve got the promotion as the VP of the land management and Sue talks to her son online.
Page 16 Steve meets the senior supervisor who threatens to object the plan if he is not paid. But Steve is able to convince him to take very little money to coorperate with him.
Page 20 In the bar, Steve meets a very nice girl Alice, who convinces him to do "absolute madness". Steve embraces the opportunity to connect with the local people.
Page 24 The next morning, Steve wakes up in Alice's house, hanged over as Sue is on the phone talking to his son again. Then they attend the city hall meeting where the senior supervisor's effort of convincing everyone onboard is resisted by Frank, who tells everybody the limitation of the fracking process. (CHANGE OF PLAN: MEETING RESISTANCE)
Page 29 Steve comes to the podium and tries to convince the teacher that fracking process is an almost perfect process. And he is stunned to see that the teacher proposes to vote and has brought a lot of people to stand up against such a decision. And the leader is very unhappy that Steve has downplayed the potential worth of the place.
Page 34 Sue is very unhappy about Steve's performance. So is the boss on Skype. He wants to pull them out before Steve promises him that he can change the mind of the whole town.
Page 36 The next day, Steve goes to the local café and the waitress tells him not to worry about the teacher. But he also meets a suspicious environmental presence, who goes to talk to the teacher and provides him with evidence of previous screw-ups .
Page 40 Steve tries to talk to the environmental guy, unsuccessfully. And Sue is being invited by the storeowner to sing in public to win public support.
Page 42 In the bar, Sue's karaoke is a disaster while Alice gives Steve her phone number. Dustin comes up to the microphone and tells everybody not to say yes to the proposal. He turns out to be a much better salesman than sue because he sings very well even if he pretends that he doesn't sing.
Page 48 Steve and Sue wait for Dustin outside of his motel. Steve fights with him while Sue hands him a bag of cash, which he accepts. But the next morning, Dustin is still working against Global, which pisses Steve off. Dustin is more confident than Steve. (POINT OF NO RETURN)
Page 54 The next morning, Dustin goes to Alice's school to teach the kids about the damage that fracking can do to the farm. Meanwhile, Steve is already feeling hesitant about selling the idea to the excited people who think that they are going to get rich . (RISE OF THE ANTAGONIST)
Page 60 The waitress is no longer friendly but Destine is connecting well with the locals. And a local who has lost his brother in Iraq is not happy that Steve is lecturing him on American's dependency on foreign oil and Global is exploiting the poor.
Page 63 So Steve decides to hold a town fair to connect with the locals. Then Steve goes to Alice's place and she tells Steve how she inherited the big farm from her family of generations. Steve is even more reluctant to do the sells pitch.
Page 67 When a bunch of angry locals want to pick a fight with Steve in the bar, Steve lectures them on the prospect of having “fuck you” money.
Page 71 As Steve works building the town fair, more people sign contracts. Global also sponsor kids' baseball. (Slow montage)
Page 76 Steve is destroyed with he sees Alice going with Dustin on a date. He is even more destroyed when he sees a poor people buy a race car because he thought he is going to get rich. The next day, the town fair goes to hell because of the pouring rain. (EVERYTHING IS LOST)
Page 79 The teacher invites Steve and Sue to his house for snacks. During the talks, Steve talks about how his Iowa town was wiped out and the teacher worries the consequence of selling their land even though he needs the money too.
Page 84 Steve receives a package in which contains evidence proving that the environmental guy was a liar. He even goes to Alice showing her the evidence to prove that he is not a bad guy. (FINAL PUSH)
Page 87 WhenSteve confronts the environmental guy, he finds out that he has always been working for Global and making sure that people will go for it.
Page 92 Steve can finally see things clear when he meets a girl selling lemonade, who moves him with her integrity. As he is trying to convince everybody to vote for Global, Steve finally tells everybody the truth. Although Steve is fired, he feels freedom and relieved.
