This film tells that the orphan Anne was abandoned at the age of four and adopted at the foster mother Hannigan's foster home, and was abused by her. One day later, she was rescued by a wealthy businessman who wanted to run for mayor, so he adopted Annie and asked Annie to canvass for him. Annie saw through his purpose and refused to help him. Afterwards, the scheming wealthy businessman asked a couple to act as Annie's biological parents, and when the number of votes increased, they could abduct Annie to another place. This made Miss Hannigan conscientious, and Annie's partner rescued Annie. The mayor’s conscience was condemned, he apologized to Annie and decided to love her unconditionally. Annie's other friends also lived a happy life under the care of Miss Hannigan.

Light comedy, not too harsh. It's easy and enjoyable to read and not tired, just applaud. Whether it's music, singing or facial expressions, they all seem to be a blackened version of Xiulan Temple.

Annie quotes

  • Will Stacks: Sometimes what you're looking for, is right in front of your face.

  • Hannigan: [obnoxiously; about Annie to Grace] You know, she's such an angel. We don't inherit the Earth, we borrow it from our children.
