This plot version has more detailed pictures and the same suspenseful style.
However, the opening special effects are different from the 1995 version, especially the design of the prosthetic body/machine body, which is too close to the simulation of the real person but feels very false, closer to the feeling of a doll.
Maybe this is the effect the director needs.
The previous article discussed "What is the true self? Will robots have souls?".
This time, I will introduce the role of robots and human attitudes towards robots. The other part is also about Bart, who "has no colonel." What kind of life did he lead afterwards?
At the opening, it was mentioned that the robot tried to "suicide/self-destruction" because it violated Isaac Asimov's "Three Laws of Robots":
The first rule: Robots must not harm humans, or cause harm to humans due to inaction (stand by with folded arms);
The second rule: Unless the first rule is violated, the robot must obey the order of the human;
The third rule: Without violating the first and second rules, the robot must protect itself.
He even mentioned that Descartes made a doll that resembled a dead daughter and loved it.
The director repeatedly discussed the relationship between humans and robots in the movie. For example, why did the robots be designed to look like real people? In the movie, this issue is discussed repeatedly with the attitude of different characters.
Compared with the style of the upper part, this one often gives people a shuddering feeling.
What’s more special is that there are many Chinese-style buildings (temples, statues) and scene depictions similar to Hong Kong.
There was even a section of the temple fair parade. Later, the report was collected from Tainan. The scene was very special and the atmosphere was completely different.
The most special one is Jin’s house. The scene is so delicate and beautiful. The whole house is full of dolls. The reflection of the sky on both sides of the bridge can’t be more beautiful...
What impressed me most was the choice of completely semaphore Jin, who was laughed at by Bart when he entered the doll as a dead person, and when Bart exposed it, he fell to the ground and laughed; and Degusa saw himself after falling to the ground. The scene where the body "opened" and screamed; and in the last scene, Bart shuddered at Degusa's daughter holding the doll, which made my rating of this movie suddenly soar.
Finally, the robot runaway massacre is also very classic.
In the end, the "Holy Spirit appeared", allowing Bart to meet his "guardian angel" again, but with someone else's body and voice, the moment Bart helped the angel put on his clothes, people couldn't help but speed up their heartbeat.
Sure enough, only the colonel is your best partner!
"Bart, remember, as long as you connect to the Internet, I will always be by your side."
Apart from everyone's "famous sayings", I can't fault it.
It is a pity that this time it was mainly Bart's solo fight, and the interaction of other members of the 9th Public Security Department was relatively rare.
But after reading it, there is only one feeling. It is worthy of being a masterpiece. Compared to the version of 1995 or above, I like this film with Bart as the protagonist. But I have to say that I would not like it so much without 1995. set.
