This film, which overwhelmed many Hollywood blockbusters and occupied the top spot in the French box office for more than 20 weeks, tells the story of an old-style traditional French bourgeois family who believes in Catholicism. Three daughters have found Arab, Jewish, and Chinese husbands. The old couple are looking forward to the rest. The unmarried little daughter can find a white French Catholic who believes in Catholicism, but she finally found a Catholic husband, who turned out to be a black African American.
This 96-minute French comedy is easy and funny. There is no American-style 18 banned content. The laughs are popular but not vulgar. Although it involves sensitive topics and contradictions such as religious issues and racial issues, it is well received. The ground is condensed in a family, and is ingeniously integrated with the plot, expressing the importance of understanding and respect in a tactful and funny way peculiar to the French.
Please enjoy this warm and funny family movie with the beautiful and romantic French people.
