I haven't written any film reviews for a while, and summer is here.
On an occasional day, I saw the girls nest together in the bedroom, revealing the youth hormones of their beautiful years. It reminded me of this wild horse.
The wanton freedom, resistance and self of the young girls in their youth are vividly displayed in this film. At first, I thought it was just a youth film, telling the colorful hormonal story of a young girl. It was later discovered that the Mustang is ambitious just like its title.
Turkey, a country with the same patriarchal supremacy. Women's life is often growing up, getting married, and getting old. There is no freedom of personality, love is not free, marriage is not free, and sex is not free.
The influence of religion on a country is undoubtedly huge. The film does not fully expose religion, but expresses the cage under this oppressive thought through the development of the plot.
What is a teenage girl like? In the film, the girls and boys are playing together by the sea. They will drive the bus to the city to watch a crazy ball game, and they will also be tired of talking to each other.
However, life is not always unrestrained. Although their grandmother lived under the oppression of patriarchy all her life, she would be sad for the girls and would provide cover for them. But their uncle was just thinking about how to marry them out, and the warmth of family affection could not be seen in him.
The youngest girl is luckier than her elder sister. When her elder sister got married because it was not love, she didn’t move. She didn’t understand why she made her cry and she was sad, perhaps for the sake of future separation, perhaps for the sake of Her own future.
The new generation and the old generation, religion and feminism are also undergoing changes. We can't expect it to change quickly, but under the beautiful youth of the girl, we seem to see the dawn of change. I can see the never-ending cry for freedom.
To be a wild horse, not to be tamed.
