Thoughts on "The Blooming Hillside of Poppies"

Young and jerky high school heroes and heroines face innocent and tender love, but they can't face each other because of suspicion that they are biological siblings. The end of the story is full of memorable and beautiful endings. Witnesses of the older generation prove that they are not brothers and sisters, so the film stops abruptly in the soft and lyrical music, which is endlessly memorable. The story itself is ordinary, but the big environment and small background behind it attracted me deeply. The overall environment is the reconstruction of Japan after the war. Many teenagers in their 20s face the family and growth environment of their fathers or mothers who were lost in the war (atomic bombing). The small background is that they are tenacious, self-confident, and self-reliant, which can be deeply felt from the various community behaviors in their high school clubs and the efforts to protect the ancient buildings in the school. (This may be affected by the national consciousness of the island nation’s crisis in the legend of Japan). Seeing their spirit and vigor in the school made me deeply ashamed of my educational experience and the current educational environment in China. The little things in the story, and the mental outlook of the group of teenagers, deeply moved me. No matter if the author is good, or it is a reflection of the true spiritual outlook of Japan, this allows people who have watched the movie to have a better understanding and understanding of Japan. This may be the so-called "cultural export". Therefore, this film is a window to understand Japan. China does not have a good work of this kind of cultural output, and it lacks a window to understand China. I dare not say that China lacks the mental outlook of young people like those shown in movies. I just say that the current educational environment has suppressed the spiritual growth of young people. After they have truly entered the society, they begin to slowly understand life and feel. The differences between people, and even the impact of different countries and different ethnic ideologies. Chinese works lack this kind of excavation of the products of the general environment, and seem to have never seen the touching part of the spirit of our current era. Is there really no such thing in our time? I don't think so, but we haven't seen it ourselves, nor has the producer of the work unearthed it. At the moment when the Diaoyu Islands are booming, watching this kind of film will help us understand Japan. There are right-wing forces in any country, especially when the left-wing cannot suppress the right-wing. It is heartbreaking to see the two sides that should have merged with each other because of the uncontrollable right-wing-led war, and estranged, facing the war. It is said that in early Japan, even today, there are still some Japanese people who believe that they are from the Tang and Han cultures, and they even have to fight with us who is the heir of the authentic Tang and Han cultures. So why did the two sides get to where they are today? Although I have the answer in my mind, it is nothing more than to talk about politics! Think for yourself! This is a good part of the video, I recommend you to watch it when you are calm.
