The legal and American dramas after Boston Legal are all uninteresting. This Goliath chapter started well, starting from a barrister who fell down due to alcoholism, the case seemed to be grand. But the subsequent development was disappointing. The demonization of corporate consortia and their lawyers is an old routine. The key villain lawyers are not good. The details are pure style, the language is weak, the methods are simple and rude, and the performance is not good. Thornton's performance as the protagonist is generally acceptable, but the performance of the second half of the court trial...the moment he entered the court, he still had no cards, all he relied on a clever move, and the final statement almost lost to the villain. Under various frustrations, the audience is already looking forward to the comeback of the court trial...Well, after James Spade, it is difficult for us to expect anything from the court trial of the American legal drama. This film can barely get a passing point, because other dramas are worse...If there is a second season, I hope that the case can be better designed and the side characters can stand up, or else just rely on a vicissitudes of life. A good drama, it's really a bit difficult.
