The movie itself is set against historical events, which is very worth seeing for history fans.

The beginning of the movie progressed relatively slowly. First of all, it started with the hero's character setting and portrayed a passionate, confident and stubborn young runner. Met the male number two in a game and decided to join the army together. At first, many Australians thought they understood the cruelty of war, and took training as a vacation-buying souvenirs, showing off their identity as a soldier... They were proud of their decision and wanted to fight for their motherland.

However, in the ensuing part, the war suddenly began. During the night’s artillery fire, Australian soldiers arrived at the camp, and they never thought that what was waiting next was a nightmare... The Australians were holding simple weapons--and The machine guns of the Turkish soldiers formed a contrast. The British commander issued an order for them to attack the Turkish position-even at no cost, the British did not value the lives of Australians... The Australian soldiers died one by one, although one after another. The soldiers who died on the ground looked very funny, but they exposed the cruelty of the war-no one can survive from the machine gun fire, just as the Australian governor said: This is a cold-blooded murder by the British!

Then the telephone line was cut off, and the officer wanted Archy to convey the message, but Archy saw Frank’s fear of fighting, and he himself was full of desire to kill the enemy...

Soldiers began to doubt the meaning of their fighting—for nation? Or was it used as cannon fodder for the British? And write a suicide note before the final charge, the atmosphere is very dull.

The movie began to change from here. Frank’s departure from the battle began to convey the message. The Australian chief wanted to prevent the death-like charge. Archy was given a chance to fight. Of course, there were also soldiers who feared death secretly hiding and not participating in the charge... But in the end, no matter what Frank tried so hard, but still didn't give the instruction to stop the charge in time...

Frank started to cry, and the audience might wonder if the order on Archy might be passed on? But if there is no if, it may be that Archy's concern for his companions has killed more lives... and the ending of the movie aroused more thoughts-Archy got what he wanted to join the army... He is also very strong , Stronger than the other soldiers, the other soldiers fell one by one, and he rushed to the enemy's position...Finally fell...The camera stayed on Archy, he had no weapons, just ran wildly, and the bullet penetrated his body.. He can't change anything. This is undoubtedly a mockery of personal heroism... There is no Captain America, there are only soldiers who died in battle... The

movie shows a war caused by deception-the government It beautifies the cruelty of the war, and people believe in the propaganda of the war...The soldiers were deceived by the country to fight for the British, but they did not receive respect at all. Defending Australian territory in Turkey? It is undoubtedly ridiculous for us outsiders. Maybe this war shouldn't have started, but it is real...

Maybe Archy and Frank caused more deaths. But they are still heroes. Their courage and justice may seem stupid to us, but we are enjoying the peace brought by "stupid warriors"... These dead soldiers may not have a small entertainer yet. More attention from the media. But they are truly respectable people!
