I personally think that this is a movie with a strong sense of emotion. Maybe I didn’t think there was anything special when I watched it at the time. But now when you look back at this movie, you will find the vague and strong eroticism in the movie. The way of expression and the simple way of communication of people at that time is something you can't find in movies anymore! The story itself tells the tense and lonely life of metropolises in the 1980s. The director took the prosperous and lonely beauty of the American metropolis in the late 1980s so beautifully that people were intoxicated unconsciously. The movies all exude a sense of alienation, like a glass of rich red wine, mellow and thick, staying awake in a strong drunkenness, constantly looking for those comfortable anesthesia and our inner instincts. The erotic desires of the American metropolis in the 1980s have a special feeling, and the American movies in the 1980s have a special texture, which cannot be replicated in today's Hollywood feature films!
