The director is very good at "sounding against the west". For example, before the finals we saw too many images of Thomas, and in the game it was almost described as his "special session", about the little fat Danny just a quick pass. In addition, we saw the coach say several times before: "Danny, you are the backbone of our team." It's easy to guess the picture of Thomas running at the front. Unexpectedly, it was Danny in the final highlight. More excited than watching Thomas. It may be because most of the sports movies we see end in Thomas's way, or it may be because the story is like this. However, the director deliberately cut down Danny in the finals, and his role in the scene is top-notch.
The party for the daughter is also a very good link. Not only was it describing the emotions between the coach and the local area, but also the emotions of Thomas and his daughter, which led Thomas to know that the coach might leave here. This makes us feel that the director has never left the development of the story.
This is a sports and inspirational film, but the laughter and music of the film make me feel that it is not so monotonous. It brings out its inspiration and emotion, and makes me feel that his performance is stronger.
The only thing that makes me think "the bone is in the egg" is the protagonist's acting skills. The facial expression is too serious in terms of emotions. But I think this seriousness has performed very well in the competition!
The film and the story are really great. Judging from the purpose of the movie, it conveys a good inspiration to us.
