After each choice, neo has an essential change. For the first time, he escapes from the matrix and returns to the real world, the second time he has super powers in the matrix, and the third time he has super powers in the real world. Oracle is obviously guiding neo to make choices and become the real savior after each choice. In the end, his victory and defeat in the final with Smith seemed to be predicted by Oracle-although there was some uncertainty.
Oracle said to Neo: "Because you are not here to make a choice, you have already chosen; you came to understand why you chose this way". It seems that everything is under the control of oracle. The choice given to neo seems to have become a kind of illusion. In the words of Merobin Keane: "The only truth in the world is the cycle of cause and effect, where there is action, there is response, where there is cause, there is effect...Choice is just a lie used by the strong to deceive the weak." What happened to neo was arranged by coincidence, and even the existence of each of them had a specific purpose, including Morpheus, Trinity, keymaker, and smith. Humans cherish all possible opportunities and use their own right of choice even if this right of choice exists only in the subconscious.
The real world in the film is actually a virtual world, a higher-level matrix, might as well be called matrix2.
