It's a pity to be obliterated

Encountered an old movie, originally thought it was an adaptation of a Rabelais novel, but after watching it for a while, I realized that it didn't matter at all. However, Elizabeth Taylor's films are rare, and they span the age span from a young girl to a grandmother.
It can be regarded as an epic film. The narrative is magnificent, the scene is magnificent, the character performance is like a stage play, the beginning and the transition in the change of time are very well grasped, and the omissions and jumps are not abrupt. The use of props is also unique, cleverly using a Christmas roast goose to resolve an emotional dispute between husband and wife.
The background music of the bar fight was also a big highlight. The song "The Yellow Rose of Texas" was exciting.
It's worth looking at, it's a pity that it's obliterated.
