A little weird, a little ridiculous

This story doesn't seem to be very complicated or subtle, but it's like O Henry's novel, and it surprises you at the end.
Life seems to be "unsatisfactory": Ray wanted to grab a bank and get rich. Who knew that his wife, Frenchy, as a cover, was unexpectedly successful because of selling biscuits; I thought I would be happy when I was rich, but Ray didn't like dresses. He didn’t like opera. He lost the joy of his original life and almost lost Frenchy; when he thought they had nothing and wanted to start over, Frenchy gave him another surprise. She "stole" the cigarette case that belonged to her. . Life went round and round, and returned to the original place. It was because of "stealing" that they flew to Miami and lived the life they wanted in the first place. It's so magical, it always develops in a direction you can't think of, and I don't know when it will give you a surprise.
I don’t know if it’s because of Woody Allen’s aura. This movie, which is a bit boring in the eyes of my friends, is quite interesting to me. Are you stupid? Smart? good? Bad? Noble? low? The little characters are vulgar and real, and the nobles are elegant and hypocritical. Maybe civilians will always be civilians, no matter how hard you try, you can't change the vulgar words, can't appreciate the elegant music, and can't get the recognition of the so-called noble. After all, not everyone can change from a flower girl to a slender lady. Cheeseburgers and ten o'clock TV series are more suitable for us. Who on earth does he want to mock?
Women seem to be born with the label of vanity, hoping to understand the paintings of famous artists, understand piano music, travel to Europe, and have a noble husband. Isn't all of this illusory? The most real thing is the man who is by your side who has been despised by you.
It's a bit weird and ridiculous.

  • Ray: It's Louie the 14th, or Louie the 15th. I don't know how high the Louie's go, actually.

  • Frenchy: All right, all right, hold your water.
