"Woody Allen, Nothing" The

first time I read a screenplay by Woody Allen, I forgot it! In my memory, it's just talk, but I see American society in the ordinary, and I also see the mentality of ordinary people!
Today I watched an old movie, the premeditating and implementation of digging tunnels and robbing banks as the beginning. It's a bit old-fashioned, but this is not what people said!
Because the recruited helpers were all idiots or arsonists, the tunnel was not dug well, and the police had found out! Fortunately, the police are also enlightened people, so everyone gave up the subject of the bank and turned to cookies!
In order to cover the amateur behavior of digging tunnels, a cookie shop was opened to cover people's eyes and ears. Unexpectedly, it became the most popular in New York, so give it up!
The cookie shop expanded into the Sunset Group a year later, and a group of idiots, housewives, arsonists, police, and this amateur thief all became executives!

Then the good times did not last long. In the cruelly competitive society of the United States, the accountant finally took all the group funds and flew away.
The housewife also withdrew from the dream of trying to squeeze into the upper class; the thief was still so amateur, and the jewels were lost at hand!
Finally, nothing!

Woody Allen wrote, acted and directed, what I want to strip off is the vulgarity under the glamorous coat of mainstream society, especially those nouveau riche!
"I am a very limited actor, usually I can only play two types of roles, one is a low-level thief and liar, I play it naturally; the other is an intellectual, because I look like an intellectual."
