(July 5, 2010) I bought the original soundtrack of this movie in October 2005-Michael Nyman + Damon Albarn = obscure + weird. Now I watch the movie and listen to it. I am not disgusted because there are so many of this movie. The uniqueness of the music makes the music blend well with the film without highlighting its uniqueness.
First of all, this ogre (clan) + humanity film was actually produced by the female director Antonia Bird. It is the same as Katherine Biglow in "The Hurt Locker". The rough texture is rare among female directors (not to mention the two Guy Pearce is used in all films, which is evident in the unique femininity and the aesthetic taste of this type of female director);
secondly, there is no small-cost horror film style, not only the style of each component of the film is strong, but also the meaning On the serious themes in the film;
and, Robert Carlyle, another unique villain performance filled with faces of various independent productions;
finally, the soundtrack of the film. Although the soundtrack of Michael Nyman and Damon Albarn 4 and 6 is not a collaboration, even if the division of labor is clear, the style and melody of the soundtrack are relatively perfectly unified in the "weird".
