1. On the road is the tradition that the counter-cultural movement inherited from the Beat generation. Generally speaking, this film is still an extension of that tradition in the 1970s, but in this film, the movement has spread to upper-middle-class young people who run away from home. 2. In fact, the counterculture at the beginning of the new Hollywood has been declining downwards, and it has long been predicted that they will blow it. 3. Why do you want to go on the road is actually divided into two factions. One group is Easy Rider. They are portrayed as Jesus in this world, set off aimlessly, spread their love by traveling far, and prove their right by sacrifice. In fact, the most interesting thing is Forrest Gump, 15 years after the conservative beginning of neoliberalism, it provides another conservative perspective to look back at this period of history. The film can be regarded as a reinterpretation of the angry youth of the parents. Its ideological coding ignores the changes in social values at the time and the sometimes radical and violent social movements, and it is attributed to contemporary times. Young people love to hear and hear the journey of pursuing love and creating a legend.
