This is an underrated film that turned mtime . Samuel Jackson and Ed Harris two ace supporting roles play the role of this film. It can get more reviews instead of being a supporting role in Hollywood. Samuel Jackson is older, and the traces of blessing are more obvious. He is no longer as energetic and stylish as in "Pulp Fiction," but his acting skills are still there, and the blessed character complements the characters in the film. And Ed Harris is also old, but his behavior is still very sharp. It makes people think that this is not a simple character, but his role is somewhat embarrassing, and the relationship with the young Eva Mendes lacks some persuasion. Power, but if you ignore this, it looks good overall.

The reason why many people don't like this film is that the plot has taken a turn for the worse, which suddenly turned the atmospheric story frame that was originally high-profile into a patriarch, which feels very nonsensical and inexplicable. In fact, the parental shortness is what we live in, and the grand narrative is the cover we should add to our lives. As far as the film is concerned, if, according to the established thinking, a cleaner uncovers a huge political frenzy and overturns the politicians in the city, then the film will no longer look special because of the theme. With the frame, the story of the little man overturning the overall conspiracy has been so widespread that it can't be repeated. If this film allows an old guy to act as the savior, then why not change to a handsome niche, it will be even more popular.

Therefore, those who want to watch blockbuster movies must be disappointed, because this is an ethical movie. There are no hot scenes, no desperate conspiracies, no sharp and direct confrontations between justice and evil, and some are just turning around. The previous ones were like the burden of huge suspense, and a corner was shaken away, but when the burden was all opened, it was found that it was nothing more than that. The plot may disappoint you, but the process of opening the baggage will not make you calm. This is the most important part of the film.

), a cleaner who is responsible for cleaning the scene of the murder. He is also a retired policeman and a single father. One day he received a job, so he took a key designated by the person he worked and went to the scene. It was a white-collar apartment. On the sofa in the living room, there was a pool of blood that needs to be removed by Tom. The work went well, but when Tom left, he forgot to return the key. It was this oversight that caused the development of the whole story. When he went to return the keys the next day, the hostess of the house, Ann (Eva Mendes), knew nothing about the murder in the house and had not reported it. Tom felt something was strange, so he found his old friend Eddie (Ed Harris) who was a policeman. Eddie told him not to care about so much, because there may be huge things hidden behind this secret, but Tom is a retired policeman. Can't fight things. The police in charge of investigating the case happened to be Wallace, an old friend of Tom and Eddie. This Wallace looked vicious, and it seemed that he was not a good seller. He maintains a close relationship with Feng En, the mayor of the city, and Feng En is under investigation for corruption. Ann's husband has officially done money laundering under Feng En. Ann keeps all records of the bribery that his husband gave to every policeman in the town. This evidence is enough to cause a huge change in the law enforcement and administrative departments of the city. All the political situation points to Feng En, in order to clear his own charges, to shoot Wallace to kill the poor man. According to the evidence, Tom found that almost all the police could not be trusted, and only his old friend Eddie, who was not responsible for the case, remained judicial innocent because he had not accepted Feng En's bribe. Wallace is still keeping track of the case. Tom discovered that if a murderer is needed in this case, he is the surrogate who wiped out the blood. But when he was about to fall into desperation and face the disaster of extinction, he remembered the key again, which was still in his hand, and he planned to use this as a clue to think about this case from the beginning. I was surprised to find that all the previous speculations turned out to be wrong. The Wallace, who seems to be eager to chase the murderer and eliminate the disaster for Feng En, is not a bad person in this case, but a qualified law enforcement officer, and his old friend Eddie, who has always been innocent, is the real murderer. Eddie killed Ann's husband because he was Ann's lover and killed his love rival for love. After this, the case suddenly became simple and couldn't be simpler, and it had nothing to do with Feng En and Wallace. The notebook used as evidence is just

It was a sufficiently ridiculous case. The screenwriters were almost fooling the audience, giving people a half-day expectation, but it turned out to be a sloppy ending. From the perspective of the plot, this is indeed the case, but Jin stays on the plot, it is silly enough. As I said before, if it's just such a simple case, it's fine for the protagonist to find a cream nanny, there is no need to let a few old guys support the situation. The story is simple enough, but the thinking left to people is not so simple. Tom is a single father, he used to be a policeman. His wife was also murdered at the beginning, and the young Tom killed the murderer in prison for revenge. But under Feng En's care, Tom was able to retire safely and took care of his daughter wholeheartedly. In this way, Tom has become a person with original sin, he is not innocent. He is a plotter, but he can't erase the crimes he once committed. Moreover, in the evidence notebook, he also found his record of taking bribes, indicating that in the past, he not only killed people beyond his authority, but also accepted bribes. If the investigation continues in this case, he himself has been acquitted of taking bribes himself, and may also be imprisoned. But the innocent Eddie killed someone because he couldn't control his zipper, and he was the direct murderer of the case in the film. Wallace obviously did his duty in this case, but he was Feng En's subordinate, and one of the motives for investigating the case was also to get the evidence. In the end Tom destroyed the notebook, and neither Wallace nor Feng En will be tracked down because of the records in this notebook. The crime of the city suddenly lost its due evidence because the case turned into a love killing, so the crime still has to continue. As a single father, Tom will continue to live in contradictions. Life is not full of sunshine, shadows are always accompanied by light, and life is like life.

From the perspective of a cleaner, the corner of life and society was unlocked, and then closed again. This is what makes this film worth thinking about. It doesn’t matter what the case itself is, it’s important to let people know that crime is always happening and that it must continue. No one is perfectly good, and no one is wicked. Just like the sentence in the film, "the bllood may be wiped away, but the truth shill remains", this is life.
