Re-reading "Les Miserables", I feel that the masterpiece is a masterpiece. As we grow older, we do see many different connotations. For example, the work depicts the conflict between the natural law school and the positive law school, such as the exploration of human nature (including the confrontation between Jean Valjean and Javert). Criminal law issues such as the reform of criminals and the sentencing of crimes are also involved. The internal contradictions of the nation during the French Revolution, the society's attitude towards illegitimate children, the connotation of human nature, and so on.
