"Confession": Who is really cruel?

At the beginning of man, nature is good. This is what the ancestors said. Discussing the good and evil of human nature is not the subject of this movie. For me, the phrase "hearing the sound of important things disappearing" has more important meaning.

The four-year-old daughter of a female junior high school teacher was killed by her own student. At the end of the semester, she calmly told the students about it. There was chaos under the podium. No one thinks this is a matter of horror and sorrow. It wasn't until the female teacher said that her daughter's father was an HIV patient that the whole class was panicked. So for these twelve or thirteen-year-olds, human lives are meaningless, and the terrible things are unknown. Teenagers A and B are the murderers who killed the teacher's daughter. They confessed their behavior in front of the teacher but did not think they were guilty, and the law would not do anything to them. The female teacher decided to sanction the two students in her own way. She told the class that she had injected HIV blood into the milk of teenagers A and B. At the beginning of the new semester, teenager B did not come to school, and teenager A was isolated and bullied. The new male teacher advocates love education, so he visits boy B every week.

Squad leader Meidai is a good student with excellent academic performance, but she is a supporter of Lucina who poisoned her family with drugs. She could see through the weakness of teenager A, and she could see that teenager B was driven crazy by Teacher Sunshine’s love education. After a long conversation with the female teacher on a rainy night after teenager B killed his mother, she found that the teacher did not inject milk into it. The HIV virus is not because the teacher loves them, but the beginning of revenge. She has a heart that sees through the essence of darkness, but she is also at a loss for the meaning of life. She is planning to commit suicide.

Teenager A is a genius, whose genes originate from the engineer's mother. In the eyes of him and his mother, his father is a fool. He has always longed for his mother's approval and attention. He is building a website hoping that his mother can see his achievements here. He abused cats, and invented some instruments to kill animals, just to attract the attention of his mother. When his invention was awarded and reported, he was disappointed after reading the newspaper. There is only a small corner of the report about him, and I don't know which page it is, but the other girl who killed the whole family accounted for the headlines and large pages of the newspaper. He realized that only murder can arouse widespread concern in society. Maybe only then his mother will notice him. So he decided to kill. He found a helper. The reason he fell in love with him was that the helper was very weak. He knew that the helper would blame him after the murder case came out, so that he would be famous (think Sister Furong Fengjie and Xiaoyue, the same reasoning).

Boy B is a timid and weak person. He has a doting mother. He is a helper in the murder of Junior A. He has no friends in school. When Teenager A took the initiative to talk to him, his heart was probably warm and he had a kind of support. Someone finally agreed with him. So he is very grateful to Junior A. He decides the target of the murder. The reason is that she is the daughter of the bad teacher Matsutaka. When the little girl was stunned to the ground, Teenager A told him coldly that he did not regard him as a coward as a group, so it was Teenager A who killed him, and Teenager B could report him. Teenager B was afraid that the exposure of the small bag would make people discover that he had a share, so he threw the bag away and threw the little girl into the water to create the illusion of falling into the water. When throwing the little girl into the water, he actually saw the little girl's opened eyes. But to prove that he was not a coward who was afraid of killing, he threw her into the water.

Juvenile A has the intent to kill, but the person is not killed. Teenager B had no intention of killing, but he threw to death in the water deliberately. It is more important for them to prove their own existence, not the lives of others.

Therefore, when Mei Da revealed the weak Oedipus complex behind the genius of teenager A, teenager A mercilessly killed Mei Da. So when teenager A rushed to his mother's laboratory at the agreed time and found that his mother had gone for a honeymoon, he realized that he had really been abandoned. For this reason, he planted a bomb in the school, he decided to commit suicide and let some people be buried. And he was afraid that those people would misinterpret his death and could not discern his genius, so he recorded his last words. Both the website and the last words were used by the female teacher who had been following him. The female teacher transferred the bomb to the laboratory of Teenager A's mother. When Teenager A finished reading his award-winning composition about life, he pressed the phone key, but the explosion did not come as expected. The female teacher called him at this time and revealed everything. His bomb blew up his mother and her laboratory.

It turns out that this is the revenge of the female teacher. Fate is easy. To disappear the most important thing in a person's life is the most deadly revenge.

Some people say that using violence to control violence is the truth. The consequence of using violence to control violence is just like in the movie, but will the lives of teenager A and teenager B be normal in the future? One life ruined the lives of two people plus the lives of two teenagers. How uncomfortable this equation is. If this is the case, it would be better to put the two teenagers in a labor camp or shoot them directly.

There is always such a phenomenon on campus. Everyone isolates the most unlucky person, cold and violent, or insults or beaten up, or some very cruel behavior. . . . . . Some people say that this is a system problem. Some people say that children are the cruelest, because ignorant cruelty is truly cruel. But I want to say: "Neither." This is how I came back when I was in elementary school. The reason for mentioning the elementary school age is because he can most obviously find the essence of the problem. Our elementary school is in the village. I have a female classmate. She has good academic performance. She has money in her family and is a school manager. There are still people in her family who are priests, so there are always people coming and going in her family. Those who come and go are the parents of our classmates. So as long as you look at who is around her, you can know who is going to her house. And if anyone has a conflict with her family, just look at who she isolates. This was the case throughout elementary school. The scene that impressed me the most was that in the fifth grade, this student lost his gold earrings. The principal unexpectedly suspended the school and went to the playground to find her earrings. A newborn baby is like a piece of white paper, you can paint colors on it, and what the people around you are like, ignorant children learn a lot. So in the final analysis, it is these adults who are truly cruel. Preaching does not have much convincing power, but the power of words and deeds is amazing. It is passed on from generation to generation, in a vicious circle. In the film, teenagers A and B each killed their mothers. why? I think this is a warning. Because the mother is always by your side, everything about her affects her children. And the misleading of public opinion tends to be terrible. Meidai is an example. So what is the most important thing?

It is worth noting that all this cruelty is premised on the desire for love. The female teacher’s revenge was because his daughter was killed, the boy A killed because he wanted his mother’s attention and love, and the boy B killed because he wanted to prove that he was not a coward and to prove that he was a friend worthy of boy A’s association. "Crime and Punishment" says that no one can decide the life or death of another person even if that person's sin is unforgivable. The sin in "Confession" is a kind of innocence, and it is an original sin of human nature. Cruel? But don't forget, it is adults who are truly cruel, not children. The child just committed a crime.

  • Shuya Watanabe: Nobody taught me that killing people was wrong. Where other kids got read picture books and fairy tales, my mom taught me Ohm's Law and Norton's theorum. She only ever talked about electronics.

  • Yuko Moriguchi: This is my revenge. I have plunged you into the depths of hell. This is the first step towards your redemption... just kidding.
