I think the highlight of the director's filming should be in the special scene of Antarctica. All suspense movies, without exception, will choose closed "island" scenes, and the purely natural formation like Antarctica is not an "island" contrived by the screenwriter. However, although Xueblind has innate advantages, he is helplessly acquired, and the director has not grasped the rhythm of the film. Apart from a few ugly corpses, it is difficult to see anything "shocked". In fact, this film has two ways to go. It is either a shocking thriller, a drama in which the heroine breaks through the heart demon, but unfortunately the director has taken a middle route, not tepid, and tastes like chewing wax.
I don't know if this film is an adaptation of a bestseller, but judging from the huge original author in the subtitles after THE END, it should be an adaptation.
Such a film wastes Beckinsale and the original work. The director is really violent. In fact, choosing a mediocre female protagonist may feel better, so that the huge difference between the protagonist and the previous plot has to be given two stars.
