In the middle of the film, an investigator from the United Nations suddenly appears. He thought he was a villain, but he was a good man. The doctor who was supposed to be dying and struggling, chose to commit suicide in a chic fear of crime.
The plot of the film lacks tension and ups and downs, and there is nothing refreshing. The most frustrating thing is that every audience can guess the villain of the story, every audience can guess everything Kate has experienced. However, the director just wanted to make a mystery, and come up with a segmented presentation, which is suspected of showing off.
Elements such as Antarctica, beauty, murder, reasoning, mystery, etc. have not turned into a delicious meal in the director's pot. Only two flavors are strong, and the overall center of gravity is lost.
But it's not a bet. Simple movies should be read with a simple mindset. It can be regarded as a watch.
