There is a kind of tears called growth

A Pixar movie with sweet and sour taste. The imaginative setting and spatial structure move people's resonance point without losing humor, making people smile and tears intertwined and moved.

A full-fledged emotional storm begins with five emotional villains in our heads, who stand in front of the console and dominate our emotions, bringing together little memories. The memory is a glass ball, dyed with the color of the emotion attached to this memory. And the most unforgettable memories will be placed in the highest position, mapping individual islands. Human character is formed by childhood, and its cornerstone is childhood memory. It can be the warmth of the family, the warmth of friendship, the enthusiasm of hobbies, the purity of quality, or it may be the opposite of scary things. These islands are our spiritual support. They may collapse, they may be stronger, or they may be replaced by other islands. This process of collapse and reshaping, we call it "growth."

Regarding the abyss of memory, there is a sad side story in the movie. The protagonist is not our brain agent, but Binbang, a playmate imagined by Riley. I don’t know if you were like Riley when you were young. You imagined a partner to accompany us, being naughty and happy together, just like binbang, laughing together, sitting in that small four-wheeled toy car together, fantasizing that it looks like Like a rocket, it can take us to the sky. When we grew up, we arrived in a new environment and made new friends. Gradually, we no longer need this imaginary "friend" to stay with us all day long. Just like bingbang's complaint when he first met Lele: Riley has rarely come to play with me. Even after being forgotten by Riley, Bingbang did not complain. He was in the memory ball maze, waiting for Riley to remember one day. Bingbang’s big backpack is full of memory balls, which are all about his and Riley’s good memories. He secretly hid these memory balls, but didn’t want to throw them into the abyss of memory because they were found by the memory cleaner after they faded. It was very important to him, but when he saw that Lele needed help, he resolutely threw all the memory balls in his bag to put Riley’s core memory balls. He knew that compared to Riley As far as the core memory balls are concerned, those memory balls are insignificant. Although bingbang was joyous and funny in the first half, when he and Lele fell into the abyss of memory together, the sadness began to spread. When the car could not carry the weight of him and Lele and rush to the sky together, bingbang Leave yourself in the abyss of memory forever.

In the abyss of memory, whether it is beautiful or sad, it will slowly disappear over time. Just like our growth, we always have to make choices, always abandon something, and the good things that we discard will become part of our growth.

As a professional, I can only say that this film is a good work of popular psychology science. But the problem is precisely that, because it is too constrained to scientifically correct, in fact it has not left much room for imagination. As for non-professionals, the general praise for imagination is that the journey of scientific discovery itself is the most magnificent creation in the world, and what art needs to do is to go further than science.

I saw half crying into tears

Inside Out quotes

  • Sadness: I'm too sad to walk. Just give me a few... hours.

  • Anger: This is ridiculous! We can't even get a good night's sleep anymore. Time to take action!

[Anger grabs an idea bulb from the shelf]

Anger: Stupid Mom and Dad. If they hadn't moved us, none of this would have happened. Who's with me?

[Anger gestures the idea to Fear]

    Fear: Um... mmmmmmmmm... Nnnnnnnn... no.

[Anger gestures the idea to Disgust]

Disgust: ...Yeah, okay. Let's do it.

[Anger puts the idea bulb into the console. Outside, Riley gets the idea and opens up her laptop]

Anger: She took it. There is no turning back.

Disgust: So... how are we going to get to Minnesota from here?

Anger: Well, why don't we go down to the elephant lot and rent an elephant?

    Fear: Hey! That sounds nice!

Anger: WE'RE TAKING THE BUS, NITWIT!

[Riley is looking up bus information on the San Francisco Greyhound Bus website]

Anger: There is a bus leaving tomorrow. Perfect!

Disgust: A ticket costs money. How do we get money?

    Anger: Mom's purse.

    [Disgust gasps in horror]

    Disgust: You wouldn't!

Anger: Oh, but I would. Where was it we saw it last?

[Anger recalls a memory of where the purse was. However, the memory of the Triple Dent Gum commercial comes up and its annoying song begins to play. Anger immediately becomes annoyed and slams on the console, startling Fear]

    Anger: NO!
