The director should know this well, and let the protagonist repeatedly say that coming to Rome is looking for adventure.
Sure enough, it was a refreshing adventure. It feels like the water in the Trevi Fountain, the light of early summer.
The pavement for Paul's transformation was very successful, at least I guessed it was to make Lizzie foolish during their rehearsal period.
I really like this kind of film, fresh, simple and warm, suitable for a long sunny summer vacation.
PS, will Lizzie and Godot be together? Can not accept. . . . .
