Good and evil at midnight

Watching a movie at midnight to experience the good and evil in the world. By accident, it corresponds to the title. I watched this "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". I originally came to Kevin Spacey. Unexpectedly, I found Jack Thompson in this movie. The figure means that all the movies I have watched for two consecutive days are his, which is interesting.
The film also brought together stars from the United States, Britain, and Australia. The southern accent is also in line with the needs of the plot. The director is the famous Clint Eastwood, who guarantees the quality of the film.
To be honest, I didn't read it too well, but I wanted to write something after reading it. The film does not seem to focus too much on good and evil, but the story and mentality behind the characters. For example, pretending to be calm but difficult to conceal the worry about uncontrollable results; lying in order to survive or cover up, such as the detective and protagonist Jim in the story; and confident but who expected witnesses to avoid in times of adversity. It’s not as good as that; I think that the big victory has escaped but it’s no match for fate... Life, it is estimated that life still needs to be open and not cover up, such as transgender Chablis, such as reporter John, treat people kindly and tolerantly, and perhaps the final gain is happiness. This is my own understanding of this movie.
A movie is a dream, but it is only a movie and a dream. Life is far more complicated and simpler than this, depending on how you have been there.

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil quotes

  • John Kelso: Well, thank you for inviting me.

    Mandy Nichols: Anytime. Every time.

  • John Kelso: So, tell me, Jim, has your family always collected?

Jim Williams: Well, that's a very genteel way of asking if I come from old money.

    John Kelso: Do you?

Jim Williams: No. I was born in Gordon Georgia, a little town outside of Macon. My father was a barber, sometime house builder, my mother was a secretary. What money I have is about eleven years old. So, yes I am "nouveau riche," but then it's the "riche" that counts, now isn't it? There's only two things that interest me, work, and those trappings of aristocracy that I find worthwhile, the very things they're forced to sell when the money runs out, and it always runs out. And then all they're left with is their lovely manners!
