A true portrayal of Rio de Janeiro

The "City of God" is a house built by the government in a slum area. This is a paradise for violent drugs. Almost all the children who live there have a gun. Any truck that enters this area cannot escape the fate of being robbed. The protagonist Rocke It is a black child who has lived here since he was a child. He has his own dream and hopes to become a photographer. His life is surrounded by violence, bloodshed and drugs, but he retains a keen sense of life in the cruel living environment. Xin, he used a camera to record this vast city and realized his dream. The living environment shown in the movie, the observation and exposure of life all surprised the audience. The movie is still like this, let alone the real poor living in Rio de Janeiro?
