When I was young, I really liked the story of "Journey to the West", in which the lines of "Ten Thousand Years" can be memorized back and forth. When I wanted to revisit the classics two years ago and open the "big talk" from my collection again, I found that I couldn't stand it anymore. Perhaps it was because of the roughness of the props, perhaps because of Zhou Xingchi's exaggeration, and more importantly, my own state of mind was no longer able to return to the agitated and angry youth at the beginning, and lingered for a few beautiful lines. I now pay more attention to the context of the story, the formation of character relationships and feelings, and the interaction between the whole and the details.
When I watch Akira Kurosawa's movies, I won't worry about the above problems, because I can get different feelings when I watch it at different stages of my life. I can feel the seriousness behind the director. I will not deliberately create contradictions in order to promote the plot. Everything seems unexpected and so natural. This is usually the charm of life.
