In the far depths of the universe, with the destruction of Krypton, the legend of Superman kicked off. Kryptonian Joe El (Russell Crowe) resists the evil plan of General Zod (Michael Shannon) and ventures to send his newly born son Carl El to the other side of the galaxy Of the earth. Carl landed in a small town in Kansas, USA. He was lucky enough to be the adopted son of Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner) and Martha (Diane Lane), and he was named Clark. Clark has shown distinctive abilities and characteristics since he was a child, but these have surprised him at the same time as countless troubles. Through the guidance of his adoptive father, Clark (Henry Cavill) slowly figured out his life experience and mission. Finally one day, "comrades" from the distant hometown came to visit.
