Eclipse

There is a very intriguing movie in the movie. She dreamed that she was eaten by her younger brothers and sisters, and her mother was like an evil spirit reaching out to her like a traditional ritual. She was the sacrifice. She felt lonely, and she longed for her friends to be able to give her love. Enough sense of security, but these seem to be extravagant hopes. A fifteen-year-old girl has shouldered too many responsibilities that shouldn't be borne at her age, and assumed the responsibilities that should be paid by an adult. The mother is like an evil spirit gnawing at herself. It reminds me of the Chinese version of Fan Shengmei!

Verónica quotes

  • [last lines]

Romero: [on the walkie-talkie] Go ahead.

Police on the walkie-talkie: The girl just died.

  • Hermana Muerte: You know when you go inside a house and they've just made French toast? It's easy to tell the smell. That smell of cinnamon... fried bread... warm milk. If you close your eyes, it's like they're on a dish in front of you. You could almost take a bite. I was a Language and Lit teacher. The French toast is a metaphor. What grade are you in?

    Verónica: Ninth.

Hermana Muerte: So you know what a metaphor is, right? And you also know we aren't talking about desserts.
