In August of the same year, Fat Brother made an idol drama "Catch a Thief", and this absurd comedy was released in October. Neither movie is "Hitchcock".

The rhythm of the movie is slow, and a beautiful small town appears under Fat Brother's lens. The people in the small town appear as if nothing had happened to a corpse. The captain wanted to bury the matter, the beggar picked off his shoes, and the doctor tripped twice without noticing it. The painter used him as a model and teased that he should die at this moment. The deceased’s wife was even so happy.

In fact, it's not that corpses cannot affect people's lives, it seems that nothing affects this group of people. At first I thought Sam didn’t notice that someone wanted to buy his paintings, but I finally realized that he didn’t care how much they could sell. Helping friends make new hairstyles is far more important than selling pictures, and helping neighbors realize their small wishes is far happier than selling pictures.

The people in the small town are satisfied with the current life, no matter whether it is a dead body or a millionaire, they will not change their original life. Fresh strawberries, brand new shotguns, and a double bed can make them happy. The opening of the film has long expressed this thought through the captain's mouth: the blessed people are after all those who do not hold any expectations, because they will not be disappointed (Translation at station B). Only at the end did I realize it.

It's really not common for Fat Brother to say some small truths in his movies. So remember it.

In fact, the most frightening thing to me was the door that couldn't be closed. As a result, there was nothing behind the door. Fat brother just likes to joke with the audience.

The Trouble with Harry quotes

  • Capt. Wiles: Fewer things in life give a man more pleasure than hunting. It satisfies his primitive nature, striding through the woods, picking up his kill.

  • Capt. Wiles: [about Miss Gravely] She's a well-preserved woman.

    Sam Marlowe: I envy you.

Capt. Wiles: Yes, very well preserved. And preserves have to be opened, some day.
