This movie is okay with the reviews that have been made abroad. In China, it has been watched by very few people. If you are not a true science fiction fan, you would not have watched it.
The feeling of nostalgia in the film is very good. Although the plot in the film is basically opened by dialogue, the dialogue has deep meaning. For example, the imagination of the future in that era, compared with the real future, human beings actually lost precious valuables. Imagination. The future in the story, our present, except for the Internet, are all in a mess. People are addicted to the Internet and handheld devices. Once they can't connect, they can be considered dead. This is the future they imagine, our reality.
Although they are all dialogues, I think these very long dialogues really sound like storytelling. They are really like hearing fascinating stories told by others. The plot is relatively compact, and I don’t feel boring and want to jump. Where I have been, the whole movie is just a story about one night, and I think it’s pretty good. Somehow, even though I was watching a movie, after watching it, I always felt like I had finished reading a science fiction novel, or the kind of writing that was very good.
At the end of the story, I think it is limited by budget and cannot perform more. If there is a magic touch at the end, it is definitely a masterpiece.
