The central idea of the movie may be an old saying: unity is strength.
Compared with locusts, ants are visually smaller, but huge ant colonies are many times stronger than locusts. Similarly, being small does not mean that they can be bullied. When they unite to resist, they will burst out with great power.
The idea is good, but in many places, even the "animation" cannot be forced to explain the logic. Thinking of "I am an ant" can you do things that humans can't do but ants can't do? Why can a little boy become the size of an ant with one drop, but the bug repellent only becomes the size of a child?
