The whole film is black and white, with few characters, few dialogues, and few scenes. There seems to be no logical relationship between the paragraphs. It is just the passage of time. Most of the time we see the shots of the three protagonists sitting sluggishly. It is especially suitable for a quiet person in the old cinema to watch and feel the vicissitudes of time and life.
There is a wonderful line in the film, which Eddie said: "When you come to a new place, everything seems the same.". There is no difference between Florida and Ohio, and there is no difference between the United States and Hungary. I came to America in search of paradise with dreams, but what I saw was a strange image of "paradise". Eva, who came to Budapest, thought of looking for a different kind of life in the United States, but finally arrived in an Ohio like Budapest. Eddie and Willie, who bet on horses all day long, still live in Florida or Ohio. same as usual. Even if there is a heaven, they are just strangers in heaven. After watching and listening, after all, I still didn't see anything and heard nothing.
When you want to change, your life is still the same, but when you start to get used to the same life, your life changes dramatically inadvertently. Leaving Ohio, which made them feel confused. When they first arrived in Florida, the mood of the three of them was refreshed, but the situation has not changed. An angry and lonely Eva received a stack of banknotes by accident. Eva who wanted to go back to Budapest failed to make a trip, but Willie, who did not want to go back again, got on the plane. You can never change your life, it only changes when you are used to it.
