When others saw Molly in his 20s yelling: "We are all scared! We are all scared", crying and laughing in the arms of 8-year-old ray, I cried very hard. Because I can't see the comedic effect of an adult crying in the arms of a child, all I see is sadness regardless of age. Both of them were afraid of the world deep in their hearts, and even more afraid of facing their own scars, so they chose to escape from this world in different ways, either debauched or closed by law. Are we not? We are afraid of facing such and such scars in our hearts, trying to cover them up in various ways.
This is not a comedy, but a film that tears people's pretended, happy or crazy or serious coats, and presents our bloody inner scars that we don't want to face.
I hope we can embrace the truth tightly after a painful vomiting like Ray.
