Hit and hit

Basically I don’t know anything about Thai movies. Although I often hear people mention "Tom Yum Goong", it didn't arouse much interest in me. But this week, "Tom Yum Goong" landed on the North American market before "Fearless", and as soon as it debuted, it reached the fourth place in the North American box office list, and my appetite suddenly fell off. I want to see how Tony Jaa is different from Jet Li.
Maybe it’s because I haven’t watched an Asian movie for a long time. The green mountains and rivers at the beginning make people feel a warm feeling. This kind of warmth that entertains the landscape is the advantage of Asian movies. Hollywood movies have never given me this. Kind of feeling.
However, the plot setting of this film is really not flattering, the plot development is very awkward, the plot is basically not foreshadowing, and the starting point is too blunt. However, as a Kung Fu film, these are not very important. The Kung Fu performance of the film is very good. Tony Jaa's Kung Fu is very good, every move is surprising, although basically it can be said that there is no acting skills, but The audience is not looking at his acting skills. Especially the single shot on the fifth floor is really amazing. It is also a director who has nothing new in the plot to find some visual balance.
I do not criticize the Chinese villains in the film, nor do I speculate in vain whether there is potential hostility towards the Chinese, but can you find a few better ones in Chinese? All of them didn't even know where to break the sentence, but they were ashamed to stand on TV and bully foreigners who don't understand Chinese.
