Gorgeous rock and roll

Yesterday, I watched "Velvet Gold Mine", perhaps translated into "Drunk Gold Fan" to better express the gorgeous rock and roll of the 70s. I like the decadence mixed with marijuana leaves and lipophilic air in the movie, and indulge in nostalgia. The whole movie is like a tribute movie, paying tribute to glitter rock, paying tribute to the genius David Bowie, paying tribute to "Citizen Kane", and paying tribute to the glory of the 70s! I can't describe my feelings when I watch the movie, probably because of deep excitement. This reached its peak when Ewan sang "TV EYES". He twisted his body frantically, took off his trousers to the end, and then struggling to dive into the crowd...The blast of music and his burst of enthusiasm could be pierced into the depths of my soul. This is the sexy publicity of the year! ! Only crazy behavior can shake a depressed heart! I heard that Iggy Pop, the prototype of Ewan, will do more exaggerated moves on stage. Heh, that is really an extreme performance of breaking the system and venting emptiness! (It's even more BT said)
A major contribution of "Velvet Gold Mine" is to bring us some handsome guys. I belong to a color blank, and I have an inexplicable affection for people with outstanding looks.
In this movie, first is the first actor Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. The child was only 19 years old when he was acting in this film, and his eyes were very clear. He played BRAIN SLADE from the initial golden shoulder-length curly hair, deep red long hair, to the light blue short curly hair when filming the MV, until the dazzling blue skyward hair when he broke up with KURT, it can give people a bright spot. Surprise. Jonathan is really a neutral stunner, combining the slender and fit body of a man with the delicate and beautiful face of a woman. It is worthy of being called "a man more beautiful than a woman" by the media. I like his light blue, almost transparent eyes, which are so confusing, as if a lot of words can be expressed through those eyes.
BRAIN, played by Jonathan, is a guy with a split personality. The stage is HIGH to the extreme, and the stage is silent and gentle. It just fits the song of Grandpa BOWIE.
CURT WILDE played by the second actor EWAN is based on Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, and the guitarist of the BOWIE band. His name is actually a bit spoof, adding Cobain and Wilde together, sweating~~. In contrast to Jonathan's exquisite neutrality, EWAN promotes sexiness in the film. EWAN is a good actor, acting freely. I like to see him have a uniform but well-shaped figure when he is topless. EWAN's performance is crazy, bold and exposed, but there is no twitching. Even after taking it off to the end, he is more beautiful than others.
I got to know EWAN from "Red Mill" and then watched "Big Fish". When watching these two films, he was a polite gentleman, leaving me with a gentle and elegant impression. (Although he is not very old). Later, after watching "Guessing Train" and "Velvet Gold Mine", I learned that the younger EWAN is such a handsome and sexy domineering! He puts the rebellious performance of young people into the woods...I love EWAN in non-mainstream movies even more.
I don’t know if you noticed that PLACEBO’s lead singer BRAIN also played a role in the film. The evil elf sang "20 centery boy" while twisting. His little hat makes him a little more cute. PLACEBO is a master of contemporary gorgeous rock and roll. BRAIN has a high-pitched and clear voice that looks like a boy. He also received praise from Grandpa BOWIE, and the song "WITHOUT YOU I'M NOTHING" they sang was great!
I actually like watching two handsome guys have a relationship entanglement. The scene where EWAN and Jonathan read Wilde's verses and kiss each other affectionately is my favorite... and it made me very sad when they broke up. Alas, I don’t want to mention it. If I think of such a unique rock movie as a love drama, it will taint the glorious years of the 70s.
At the end of the film, EWAN is still EWAN, and Jonathan is no longer the original Jonathan. Jonathan, who is on the popular route, will quietly watch EWAN's still crazy performances, then turn around and leave...
As EWAN said at the end: "We thought we could change this world, but we were changed by this world."

The movie is average, recommend the original sound: http://www.xiami.com/album/300003. Every time I was about to lose my mind, the director would play glam rock, which was very nice, so I watched it...

Velvet Goldmine quotes

  • Mandy: What's true about music is true about life: that beauty reveals everything because it expresses nothing.

  • Jerry Divine: Every great century that produces art is, so far, an artificial century, and the work that seems the most natural and simple of its time is always the result of the most self-conscious effort.
