Inclusive love

Atlantis-the unknown city. The
infinite unknown induces infinite imagination.
Hearts in Atlantis

Even now, I still don't understand why the film is such a name.
Fancy unlimited potential in unlimited imagination?

Humans are "loving" animals. Most of the creations related to the Muse revolve around this theme. It seems that this can resonate better. The greater the love, the stronger the resonance.
What exactly is the love of this movie? At the end, I was not sure how much I understood. The only certainty: I love this feeling!

The little boy who lost his father, the mysterious old man. In a short summer vacation, the child got courage, wisdom, responsibility... and his first love. The old man seems to be omnipotent, but obviously there are big limitations, so he needs the help of the little boy. Did the child get a lot?
In fact, it is impossible to say who has more influence on whom, the last line of the old man:
"I don't regret knowing you, no matter what."
...
No regrets!

Many people, no matter how deep the fate, no matter how "smelly similar" ~
You ask, "Can I see you again?"
He replied, "No, boy. We won't meet again."

A sad perfection . Maybe it's carried through the child's life. Maybe it's life off-screen. Maybe, countless all of them maybe... After

writing this, I finally understand what
moved me: the love of tolerance.
Regarding all the imperfections, and the regret or heartache caused by imperfections.
...
Atlantis,
a legendary city.
A great love is infernal.

It's okay, the water flows smoothly, there is warmth and touch, but the biggest suspense has not been revealed, and there is nothing to burn, and it is flat outside of literature and art. Memoirs of the child’s growth, with his friends, with the little ruffian, and with the foreseeable and melancholic upstairs tenant old man who seems to be wanted. I thought that Skin was a master of horror and suspense, but after seeing so many works, mostly mortal people's homely stories with little surprises, decided that his interest in him would be greatly reduced in the future.

"Time is a bald old liar." A year-end friendship beyond the norm. That summer, he met Tedd and reaped love. From then on, the little boy Bobby grew up. Stephen King's another warm work, analogous to "Walk with Me", is not difficult to think of the old days of the United States in the 1950s and 1960s, but after the aftertaste, it is a touch of sadness.

Hearts in Atlantis quotes

  • Bobby: Ted, "my father never bought a drunk a drink". What does that mean exactly?

Ted: It means he was a good man, he was honest, and he never added to the troubles of the world. Okay? Good night.

  • [last lines]

Bobby Garfield (Adult): I never heard from Ted Brautigan again. Not that I didn't think of him. I always have. I always will. Because that summer was the last of my childhood. And though I never again saw what people were thinking, there was an enduring gift that he left me. What Ted did was open my eyes, and let the future in. I wouldn't have missed a minute of it. Not for all the world.
