8.3 The shadow of "Shawshank's Redemption" can be seen in this film, and there are many classic flashes in my mind. It's like a traditional biopic, and it's not so boring. The epic heaviness attracted the audience to flip through the pages. Like the denseness of a dictionary, it traces back to the past.
To be honest, the story is quite attractive, but unfortunately the director's mastery is a little worse. There are a lot of characters, some of them are not outstanding, and you don't even think that the doctor in the mental hospital is a bad person. I don't think it is hateful for the old scholars at Oxford University to stand still and play with the powerful. I just remember that there is a long way home and unparalleled determination in Murray's deep eyes. Miner struggled with contradictions and guilt after PTSD. How painful is the slap of the eldest daughter Eliza. Some people in the long river of history may have no chance with the result, but use their lives to point people far away in the right direction.
